Fishing is from designated pegs only of which there are 54. Night fishing is allowed and members can fish the water for a maximum of 48 hours, after which they must leave the water and car park for at least 24 hours. No keepnets, carp sacks or similar to be used, except during official matches.

Please ensure that you do not stray off these routes onto neighbouring land or lakes as any such action may result in prosecution by the land owner and loss of your membership. Police train dogs on the adjacent land and there is an archery club with the inherent dangers these present if you stray off the routes shown on the map. There is strictly no access between point A and B on the map or by foot on the dam head. Peg 36 just south of point B can only be accessed by foot from the track which ends in the southern end of the lake .
